Meet the Team

Shaun has been working at Crockers since before he left school! To be fair, he was raised at Crockers, eventually taking over from his parents Paul and Sue and leading the business into its third generation – what a legacy!

Tracey is Shaun’s big sister and business sidekick. With their combined knowledge, these two have over 65 years of experience in paint, wallpaper and decorating. Tracey completed her nursing degree before deciding to work within the family business.

 Murray is the point of contact for trade painters and other tradesmen who frequent our store. He always gets the best prices and deals for our repeat customers! Born and bred in Engadine, Murray’s not short of a story with the locals there. He loves his footy and has coached a few Engadine Dragons teams over the years. Married to Tracey, Muz joined the family business after having a career at Sydney University in the pharmacology department!

Nicole is married to Shaun and after working many years in the corporate sector, she now runs Crockers Paint & Wallpaper finance and HR departments. Along with being a mum Lleyton, 17, and Tiarne, 13, Nicole has been an integral member of the Crockers team for over 17 years!

Tom has had some experience in the paint industry and his artistic flair developed whilst he trained as a signwriter! Tom and has wanted to join our team for some time. Once the opportunity came up he was quick to send through his details and now he is in the swing of being one of the Crockers Team helping our customers each and every day.

Tom knows a thing or two about wine as his family has a winery in the Mudgee region and he enjoys watching comedies like Brooklyn 99. He loves eating Pizza and Chicken Parmi!"

Malcolm, a career mechanical quality and inspection engineer, decided to come out of retirement when the opportunity knocked. Malcolm’s previous experience has included plenty of industrial coating inspection since the 80s, while he identifies with our home renovation customers having completed many of his own projects from furniture making to decks, pergolas and the regular house repaint. Malcolm’s been a keen soccer player and coach of his (now adult) children’s teams, while ever the petrolhead and native plant gardener. I love my Zeus Palace coloured trim.

I’ve been a Crockers customer since the early 90s because I always receive excellent advice and friendly service. Over the years, Crockers have mixed me up some very unusual paint special brews, which I know I couldn’t get anywhere within cooee. I’ve always walked away happy from Crockers.

After spending 13 years in the financial and insurance services industries, James decided it was time for a change of scenery.
Growing up in Engadine, James has been studying film since mid-2023, and now he's brought his talents to us, joining Crockers since January 2024. 🎓🎥 But what sets James apart? It's his combination of over a decade of customer service experience and a newfound passion for creativity that's truly remarkable!

Lleyton is our youngest team member. He helps process our product lines when we are flooded with large pallets of paint. He does a few hours of work here and there after school. You will often see him pushing trolleys and paint drums around with a cheeky grin on his face while greeting customers as they arrive. Lleyton is Shaun and Nicole's son!
